Santa Clara Bruins Baseball Season Summary
The Bruins claimed their first league title since 2005. Senior Sean Oswald batted .310 on the year with 16 runs, 15 RBI, five doubles, one triple, 10 walks and 10 SBs, with a .414 OBP. On the mound, Oswald was 4-5 with 38Ks and four saves, while posting a 1.35 ERA with five complete games. Senior Matt Overy was a two-way star as well, posting a 4-1 record with 19Ks and a 2.16 ERA. Overy compiled a .312 BA with 13 runs, 11 RBI, three doubles, two triples and seven SBs. Senior Andrew Knowles compiled 11 runs, seven RBI, 10 walks and four SBs. Junior Lu Ling posted seven runs, 13 RBI and three SBs. Senior Cody Levene belted one HR, scored six runs and batted in eight. Junior Kanu Matthews amassed 11 SBs, while Oscar Gutierrez amassed 13 SBs. Gutierrez also posted 16 runs and 12 walks. Sophomore Rinaldo Tompkins emerged as a shining star of the future, with a .395 BA, four runs, 10 RBI, five SBs, as well as posting a 4-1 record with a 2.92 ERA, one complete game and 24Ks.

Wilcox Chargers Softball Season Summary
Ohio-bound Senior Taylor Henson concluded the season with a .379 BA, 23 runs, 20 RBI, six doubles, two triples, two HRs, eight walks and a .423 OBP. Henson also was 2-2 with a 3.43 ERA with two complete games and 11Ks on the mound. A trio of juniors led the Chargers offense. Catcher Stephanie Pickard amassed a .338 BA, .444 OBP with 16 runs, 19 RBI, five doubles, one triple, one HR and 12 walks. She also caught five runners attempting to steal bases. Brianna Massey boasted a .416 BA and .494 OBP with 19 runs, five RBI, six 2Bs, one triple and 12 walks. Sara Cohen compiled 15 runs, 12 RBI, two doubles and 12 walks. Sophomore Kristen White compiled a .500 BA and .593 OBP with 11 runs, 20 RBI, nine doubles, two triples and two HRs. Freshman Alyssa Parra was the Chargers' main pitcher, compiling a 3.98 ERA and 30Ks in 103.2 IP. She was 7-10 with 11 complete games. The Chargers have 15 players returning for next year, including seven juniors, three sophomores and five freshmen, all who spent time with the varsity squad.

Broncos finish season with three losses to Pilots. Santa Clara University traveled to Portland to play the final three games of the series and dropped all three losing 5-3 on May 27, 2-1 May 28 and 6-5 May 29. Senior pitcher Cory Hall picked up the first loss of the weekend and offensively the team was led by sophomore Drew Ozanne who had two hits, an RBI and scored a run. In the second game, the score was stuck at zero until the ninth inning when sophomore Stephen Takahashi knocked in a run for the Broncos. The Pilots rallied for two runs, and the win, in the bottom of the ninth inning. Junior pitcher J.R. Graham was given the loss. In the final game of the series, and year, three seniors, Curtis Wagner, Patrick Terry and Brian Roby recorded base hits and sophomores Drew and Matt Ozanne and junior Lucas Herbst led the offense with three hits apiece, but the Pilots jumped to an early 4-1 lead and held on for the 6-5 victory. Sophomore pitcher Chris Mendoza picked up the loss for the Broncos.

Santa Clara Bruins Softball Season Summary
Senior Gianna Ramirez compiled a .343 BA and amassed 15 runs, 13 RBI, four doubles, one triple, two HRs and a SB. Fifteen walks gave her a .463 OBP. Senior Susan Aguirre compiled a .311 BA with 12 runs, two RBI and was 4-for-5 on SB attempts. Senior Marissa Sousa was 8-for-9 on SB attempts adding eight runs and eight RBI. Junior Mikeala Ebner led the Bruins on the mound, with a 3.24 ERA compiling 36Ks and six complete games. Ebner also contributed on the plate with a .305 BA, 12 runs, 10 RBI, six doubles, one triple and one HR. Junior Christina Mendoza compiled a .286 BA with nine runs, 11 RBI, 11 walks and four SBs. Freshman Ashley Campos compiled a .320 BA with 12 runs, seven RBI and eight SBs.

St. Lawrence Celtics Baseball Season Summary
Senior pitcher Michael Arioto was 7-1 with one save, posting a 2.54 ERA, two no-hitters and three complete games, as well as striking out 78. Sophomore P/OF Sahil Bhargava was 5-3 with four complete games and 48Ks. Bhargava also added 13 runs, 13 walks and 13 SBs from behind the plate. On offense, senior OF Lawrence Lorenzano compiled a .388 BA with 25 runs, 12 RBI, 10 walks, a .492 OBP as well as amassing 20 SBs. Junior Catcher Michael Low compiled a .413 BA with 18 runs, 15 RBI and 13 SBs. Junior SS Matt Barela recorded a .500 BA, .611 OBP with 25 runs, 21 RBI, eight doubles, one triple and two HRs, plus 13 SBs. Junior 1B Matt Hargadon posted a .302 BA and .500 OBP with 19 runs, 12 walks, 11 SBs, two doubles and a triple. Sophomore 3B Vinny Camarda amassed a .340 BA and .459 OBP with 24 runs, nine walks and 16 SBs. Freshman 2B Michael Lima compiled 19 runs, 15 RBI a triple and 20 SBs. Freshman OF Jacob Revallier recorded a .375 BA and .444 OBP with four SBs.
