Officer Phan arrested a man who was under the influence of drugs and found to have an outstanding warrant.

During a traffic stop, the driver was found to have a suspended license and outstanding warrants. He was cited and released. A passenger in the vehicle was arrested after he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Officer Stewart made contact with a man who was found to have an outstanding felony arrest warrant for possession of drugs.

Domestic Violence  |  Location: 1000 Block of Clyde Ave.
A woman called the Police Department from a neighbor’s house to report an assault by her husband. The suspect threw a remote control at his wife, causing an abrasion, shoved incense sticks into her mouth, and removed the battery from her cell phone so she could not contact the police. Officers arrested the man at his residence.

Drug Arrest  |  Location: 200 Block of Monroe St.
After responding to a residence for a disturbance call, officers found four people involved in an argument. Three of the four were arrested for being under the influence of drugs and for being in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The three were booked into County Jail. The fourth person was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and was released at the scene.

A woman called the Police Department to report that her husband pushed her to the ground, leaving a visible mark on her shoulder. The husband was arrested.

A driver was arrested for DUI after almost hitting a police vehicle, then refusing to stop when the officer initiated a traffic stop. After a short pursuit, the man was arrested and taken to County Jail.

Traffic Accident  |  Location: Woodhams Rd. & Atherton Dr.
Officers responded to an accident where a 12 year old girl was hit by a car after riding her scooter into the street. The girl was transported to Valley Medical Center, where she was treated for a broken leg and abrasions to her head. The driver of the vehicle was cooperative.

During the evening, an unknown suspect stole a catalytic converter from a Toyota SUV.

Prowling  |  Location: 500 Block of El Camino Real
Security officers detained a suspect who was tampering with a bicycle. Officers responded and found the suspect to be in possession of a hacksaw blade, a file, lock picks and "shaved" keys. The man was arrested for prowling and being in possession of burglary tools.

DUI  |  Location: Stevens Creek Blvd. & Lawrence Expressway
Officers responded to the report of a major injury accident where a small pick up truck had collided with a cement pillar. Both the driver and the passenger had to be transported to the hospital. The driver was found to be DUI.

Stolen Vehicle  |  Location: 3400 Block of El Camino Real
Officer Nelson located a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of an adult book store. The two occupants inside the vehicle were arrested and the vehicle was released to the registered owner.
