Officers arrested a man at a motel. He had an outstanding warrant.

Drug Arrest  |  Location: 3400 Block of El Camino Real
After making contact with two men sitting in a vehicle, Officer Niesen found that one of the men was in possession of a stolen credit card and a methamphetamine pipe. The other man was in possession of methamphetamine and a drug pipe. Both men were arrested and taken to County Jail.

A driver fled after Officer Marines attempted to stop his vehicle. After a brief pursuit, the man stopped and fled on foot. He was located and arrested.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon  |  Location: 2400 Block of Johnson
After an argument, the male victim went outside to smoke a cigarette. The female suspect followed him outside and held a machete to the victim’s throat. The victim managed to push the suspect to the ground and take possession of the machete. The suspect was arrested.

A victim of a hit and run accident followed the suspect until he stopped his car. Officers responded and arrested him after he was found to be DUI.

Officer Martinez arrested a man who had two outstanding felony warrants. A related search of his vehicle revealed methamphetamine and a drug pipe.

Domestic Violence  |  Location: 3400 Block of Warburton Ave.
After responding to the report of a domestic violence incident, officers found that the female victim had been assaulted by her boyfriend. The suspect left before officers arrived. An Emergency Protective Restraining Order was issued.

Officers responded to the report of a man and woman fighting in the parking lot of a grocery store. The argument was found to be between roommates, one of which was arrested after it was discovered that she had an outstanding warrant.

An unknown suspect stole a bicycle from a garage to which the door had been left open.

Officer Garcia responded to the report of someone attempting to buy a laptop computer at an electronics store using a stolen credit card. The juvenile suspect was arrested and later released into the custody of his mother.

Vehicle Theft  |  Location: 2300 Block of Monroe
Officers responded to the report of a stolen taxi cab. The owner had parked the vehicle in front of his apartment and left the keys in the ignition. Officers located the stolen vehicle in the area of Bowers and El Camino Real. They detained two males that were walking in the area. One of the men was on active parole and in possession of stolen items from the cab. He was arrested and transported to the Temporary Holding Facility.

Officer Wurdinger responded to a department store where a suspect had attempted to steal several items of clothing by concealing them in a shopping bag. Once the suspect exited the store with the stolen items, she was detained by store security officers.

Assist Other Agency Within City  |  Location: El Camino Real & Harrison St.
Officer Higgins located and stopped a vehicle that was associated with a shooting in the City of Sunnyvale. The occupants were taken into custody. The gun used in the shooting was located under the front passenger seat. All of the subjects and evidence were turned over to the Sunnyvale DPS.

Arson  |  Location: 500 Block of Washington St.
Officer Niesen responded to the report of a sofa being set on fire in the street. Officer Niesen located and arrested the responsible individual. The suspect was transported to County Jail.
