Monday, July 23, 2007 Warrant Arrest - Felony Location: 103 block Murtha San Jose Officer Blass, Selberg, Filo and Henry contacted the suspect wanted on a felony warrant. The suspect was found in San Jose and arrested without incident. Tuesday, July 24, 2007 Warrant Arrest - Felony Location: Cabrillo Av. and Los Padres Blvd. Officer Bell saw a disturbance involving the occupants of two vehicles. He stopped one of the cars and determined the disturbance was domestic related. The suspect had a felony warrant. He was arrested and booked at S.C.P.D. Wednesday, July 25, 2007 Burglary Location: 100 block Washington St. A citizen reported seeing several suspicious people and hearing breaking glass. Officer Britton arrived and interrupted an auto burglary. Two suspects ran and jumped a fence. One suspect was caught in the rear yard of a residence. A short while later, the second suspect was located hiding in a different rear yard. Both suspects were arrested and booked at S.C.P.D. Thursday, July 26, 2007 Traffic Accident Location: Lakeside Dr. and Augustine Dr. A truck used by a paper shredding company failed to stop for the stop sign at Lakeside Dr. and Augustine Dr. and collided with another vehicle. The truck driver also rear ended a parked tractor trailer rig. The driver was trapped inside. SCFD and a tow truck were able to separate the vehicles and extract him. The driver was transported to a local hospital. Friday, July 27, 2007 Robbery Location: 2000 block El Camino Real The victim was walking in a parking lot. The suspect rode up on a bike and tried to steal the purse from her arm. The victim fought with him and was pushed to the ground. The suspect rode off with the purse. The area was checked but the suspect was not located. The suspect was arrested on 7-28-07 as a part of a separate investigation. Saturday, July 28, 2007 Warrant Arrest - Felony Location: 800 block Civic Center Dr. After responding to a suspicious motor home call, Officer Bertauche contacted the occupants. Two people, an adult male and female occupied the vehicle. During his contact, Officer Bertauche learned that the male was found to have a felony warrant. He was arrested and booked at S.C.P.D. The female was released with the motor home.
