Domestic Violence
Location: 3400 block Homestead Rd.
Officer Schneider investigated the report of a violation of restraining order. The protective order had been issued after the suspect was arrested for domestic violence. Despite the order, the suspect went to the victim's house, vandalized her vehicle, and then vandalized adjacent property with his vehicle. The suspect was arrested and booked at S.C.P.D..

Vehicle Recovery / Counterfeit Money
Location: 3600 block Benton St.
Officers Gratny and McDowell responded to a suspicious person call.. Upon arrival, the suspect was detained. Officers learned the vehicle the suspect was associated with was stolen. The suspect was also in possession of counterfeit money. He was arrested and booked at S.C.P.D.

Drug Possession
Location: 3700 block Poinciana Dr.
Officer Britton responded to a loud music call. He contacted the offending party who was smoking marijuana in his vehicle. A search of his vehicle led to the recovery of over 40 grams of marijuana, packaging, money, and scales. The suspect was arrested and booked at S.C.P.D.

D.U.I.
Location: 1800 block Bowers Av.
Officer Britton responded to a call of reckless driving. Officer Britton arrived, but the vehicle was gone. A few minutes later, the truck returned. The suspect stopped in the street about 30 feet from a driveway, then squealed his tires until he reached his driveway. The suspect was determined to be intoxicated. He was arrested and booked at S.C.P.D.

Vandalism
Location: 3900 block Freedom Cir.
Officers Horn and Smalley were on foot conducting a premise check. The business area had been the site of recent thefts. Officer Smalley smelled fresh paint. As they rounded a corner, two suspects were vandalizing freight containers with graffiti. The suspects were arrested and booked at S.C.P.D. following a foot chase.

Officer Pate initiated a traffic stop regarding a suspicious vehicle. Officer Pate was notified that the suspect was wanted on "No-bail" warrant. The suspect was arrested and booked at S.C.P.D.
