Warrant Arrest
Location: 3500 block El Camino Real
During foot patrol check at a motel, Officer Bailey made contact with a suspect who had been causing disturbances at the motel throughout the evening. The suspect had two warrants. He was arrested and booked for the warrants.

Possession of a Weapon
Location: Hogan Dr. and Armour Dr.
Officer C. Bell stopped a suspected drunk driver. The pickup had a camper shell with a bench seat bolted to the bed. Two additional males were seated in this seat. During the course of the stop, Officer Bell had the two subjects in the back of the truck step out of the truck. A visual inspection of the area revealed a .22 cal. handgun and loaded magazine. The two suspects fled from the area. The suspects were not located. Additional follow up is occurring.

Possession of Controlled Substance
Location: 600 block Hamilton Ln.
Officer Nguyen responded to investigate a disturbance between father and son. The son wanted the father to leave his residence. Officer Nguyen determined that the son was under the influence of drugs and he was arrested. A container of drugs was found on his person at the time of booking. The suspect was booked at S.C.P.D.

Warrant Arrest
Location: 3100 block Belick St.
Officer Magnane saw a suspicious vehicle in the dark, backed in near a dumpster. He made contact with the suspect and a records check indicated the suspect had a warrant. He was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail.

Drug Possession
Location: 2300 block El Camino Real
Officer Aminyar stopped a car for a vehicle code violation. He contacted the suspect who said that he had just been discharged from parole for felony assault. Officer Aminyar located a knife in the suspect’s front pocket and illegal drugs on the floor of the vehicle. He was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail.

Traffic Accident
Location: Monroe St. and Meadowbrook Dr.
Officer Shearer investigated an injury collision. The damage to the vehicle was such that extrication was necessary. The two elderly drivers were taken to area hospitals with reported chest pains.

Possession of Drugs
Location: Walsh Av. and Scott Blvd.
Officer Martinez initiated a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation. The driver was showing signs of being under the influence of drugs. Officer Martinez located a pipe and two baggies of methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail.

D.U.I. / Accident
Location: 1900 block Bohannon Dr.
An intoxicated driver failed to properly negotiate the bend in the road at Bohannon Dr. and Maria Av. She struck a fire hydrant, shearing it, and continued until striking a tree. She sustained minor injuries. The suspect was arrested and transported a local hospital for her injuries.
