Drug Warrant                                                           

Location:  2500 block of El Camino Real

 

Officers received information that a wanted subject was staying at a local motel.  Officers made contact with the subject and confirmed he had a warrant.  He was arrested without incident and processed on the $30,000 misdemeanor drug warrant.

DUI                                                                                   

Location:  El Camino Real at Lafayette St

 

Officers responded to an accident at El Camino and Lafayette.  They discovered a solo vehicle had struck the center median.  The driver had numerous prescription drugs in the vehicle. It was suspected the medication had impaired her ability to safely drive.  She was arrested and transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Officers received a call that a person was unconscious behind a business.  Officer Britton and Santa Clara Fire Dept. performed CPR on the male.  He was transported to Kaiser Hospital where the attending physician pronounced him deceased.

Domestic Violence                                                            

Location:  300 block of Landeros Way.

 

Officers responded to investigate a female covered in blood.  When the officers arrived they found the female covered in blood, however it was her own.  The female had been in an argument with her husband.  She smashed a picture frame with glass over his head and cut her hand.  She was arrested for domestic violence without incident

Copper Theft                                                        

Location:  1300 block of Lawrence Expressway.

 

Private security conducted checks at an abandoned building and located a suspect inside cutting away the copper piping.  They detained him until police arrived.  The suspect was arrested for burglary without incident.  Officers located a vehicle nearby and identification for a second suspect.  Officers decided to conduct surveillance and wait for the second suspect to arrive.  Approximately 30 minutes later, the second suspect was seen exiting the building and was arrested after a short foot pursuit.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon                                             

Location:  2700 block of Mauricia.

 

Two suspects got into a verbal argument with a pedestrian at Kiely Blvd and Stevens Creek Blvd.   The two suspects drove home, grabbed bats and returned to find the victim in the area of Kiely Blvd. and Mauricia.  The suspects chased the victim E/B Mauricia, and hit him with the bats and kicked him several times while he was on the ground.  The victim complained of pain to his back/torso with visible redness and trauma. The victim was treated on scene by SCFD and transported to VMC for treatment.  Both suspects were arrested and booked for Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Domestic Violence                                           

Location:  2200 block of Royal Ave

The victim and suspect are expecting a child together and were arguing about money. The suspect demanded money from the victim so he could purchase drugs.  The victim denied his request and was subsequently pushed to the ground with enough force to cause pain.  He held her down by putting his foot on her stomach while taking cash from her pants pocket. The suspect fled prior to police arrival.
