Disturbance – Possible Weapon
Location: Motel 2200 Block of El Camino Real
Officers responded to a call at a motel, which possibly involved weapons. The information regarding the weapon could not be substantiated. Two females who frequent this motel were involved. Sgt. Nguyen secured a trespass enforcement agreement with the property owner, and the two females were advised not to return.

Disturbance – Possible Weapon
Location: 2400 block of Golf Links Circle_
CHP broadcasted a road rage incident where someone brandished a shotgun. A license plate number was obtained and was found to be currently registered to a Golf Links Circle address. The vehicle was spotted in the driveway at that address and, upon further observation, the rifle was located inside the vehicle. The suspect’s mother reported that the suspect was at home, and was most likely asleep in an upstairs bedroom. The father stated that his son was in the Marines and may be suffering from PTSD. The mother managed to verbally summon the suspect through an open window. The suspect willingly came out and cooperated with the investigation. He did admit to elements of the brandishing. The weapon was seized, and the suspect was not arrested.

Armed Robbery
Location: Mercado Center 3100 block of Mission College Blvd.
A student was walking to Sandia Drive in Sunnyvale when she was approached by two black males associated with a blue car. They jumped out of the bushes and demanded the victim’s purse. This incident was similar to others that have occurred in the Valley.

Robbery
Location: 100 block of Buckingham
Officers responded to the scene when an adult female reported that she was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of her condominium complex. The unknown suspect displayed a weapon and demanded her purse. The suspect then fled in a vehicle.
Approximately three hours later officers responded to a suspicious vehicle call in the 100 block of Serena Way. Officer Guthrie noticed the similarities between this vehicle and the vehicle description in the earlier incident. The vehicle had been reported stolen and was most likely abandoned after the robbery. The vehicle was impounded (Case Number 08-4133) and processed for evidence.

Armed Robbery
Location: 4300 block of Great America Parkway
A lone female was robbed at gunpoint by two black males, each of whom had a weapon. After robbing the woman, they fled in a dark colored vehicle southbound on Mission College Blvd. A short time later, the victim’s credit card was used at a gas station in East Palo Alto.

Teenage Prostitution
Location: 2500 block of El Camino Real
Two teenage girls were working out of a room at a local motel. They admitted to being prostitutes and were using a website to gain clientele. The girls were taken into custody.

Warrant Arrest
Location: 1900 block of Bohannon
Our Special Enforcement Team (SET) and some of our patrol officers put together a probation search on an individual. This person was located and arrested without incident. The person was booked at County Jail.

DUI Arrest
Location: Stevens Creek Blvd and Saratoga Avenue
Officer Lagergren arrested a driver for DUI. The driver was headed westbound on Stevens Creek Boulevard when he struck two legally parked vehicles, which were unoccupied. The driver was taken to VMC for minor injuries.

Vandalism
Location: 2000 block of Elm Leaf Court
Three areas of a property located on Elm Leaf Court were vandalized overnight. Red and blue spray painted graffiti was found on an exterior wall near the pool, on the multi-unit mailboxes and on the entrance sign to the development along Las Padres Blvd.
